The track is transcribed in the original key, E Flat Major, and uses basic major and minor chords E♭ Cm B♭ A♭ Gm. Despite its use of harmony, the track feels atonal.
"APT." is composed with a straight rhythm in common time. Accent strong beats but do it softly.
Focus on precise rhythm in the rap part. It is tiring to play with forte touch; play pianissimo.
The right hand imitates the vocal delivery by Bruno Mars and Rosé: a predominant vocal style is staccato. In the pre-chorus use legato. In choruses the vocal line goes into the left hand. You can omit playing it.
Pitch inflections (slurred notes) should be played quietly.
The chanting APT-APT! is of an indefinite pitch. You can play chords instead of B♭.
In the Advanced file I added the backing vocals on the ossia stave. Don't play it on piano, it's for singing.
The aesthetic value of a track is based on variety and repetition.
