A twelve-note scale and a metered sheet music isn't capable to express the sound of “Sign” with its layered vocal and digitally generated inflections.
The track is transcribed in the original key, G Minor, but has an atonal feeling because constant frictions between melody and harmony lead to blurring of the harmonic center.
The progression is static and lacks a prominent cadential gesture.
Notice the ellipsis (omitted chords).
“Sign” is composed with straight rhythm in common time. Accent strong beats.
The left-hand provides an accompaniment. Play any pattern here (chords, arpeggios, tremolo, ostinato).
The right hand imitates vocal delivery by IZNA members: the predominant articulation is tenuto.
Focus on precise rhythm in the rap part. Rap is tiring to play with forte touch; play pianissimo.
The melody is hard to memorize because it doesn't repeat motives. The aesthetic value of the track suffers due to lack of repetition.
